Drupal CMS is NOT "Old School"

We support and offer our services to the Drupal CMS community and anyone wishing for a website or help using this awesome system. We also are obsessed with the support and promotion of the Open Source Movement that began with Richard Stallman as a result of his experience with Xerox Corporation. This website is also to be educational and a resource.

Moving the Site in 2012

I plan to relocate this site to Host Gator this year. The site name is due to be changed as well to best portray our cause. I am thinking, so far, "Open Source Island".

Adding Wiki and Amazon Book reviews

Currently figuring out how to set up the wiki tools so we can get to work there, and also I want to add open-source books via Amazon, with reviews by us. You will be able to purchase a book from here via Amazon, and we will use the funds (they pay up to 15%) to build this thing up.

BIG Change Coming....NOW!

I have decided to expand the scope of this website to include ALL open source whatevers......for example Word Press, Joomla and other CMS. Zen Cart, SugarCM, etc.,etc.,etc.....

Why?

Simply as the site is ultimately about OPEN-SOURCE - as in the Open Source Movement and what that means to us. I want this web to be educational above all, as well as a great resource for everyone moving into the wonderful world of open-source.

Drupal CMS is NOT "Old School"

Sometimes we learn something the hard way. In my case it was that you simply cannot just work with Drupal using "old-school" methods! I state here that the first thing anyone beginning to use Drupal should do is to STUDY! This is especially true when you begin developing Drupal, and again, if you are a veteran of the hand-code way.

With Drupal you still get to do a bit of text-coding - in fact, maybe more when you really begin to have fun But you absolutely MUST adhere to the standards set out for coding Drupal.

Drupal Content Management System Specialists

The title says it all! We are totally gassed by open source and Drupal CMS - so much so that some specialize only in not only using it to build web sites and applications, but also develop new features for the thriving community that supports Drupal. If you want a Drupal site built, themed, repaired or anything related, we have people for that!
